Subject: Advice needed

I live in Canada and a couple of months ago I met this girl in Scotland online. I confessed to her just over a week ago that I really like her and she admitted the same. Since then though nothing’s been said about it, it’s like it never happened. My problem is I would like to get into a proper relationship with her, date on here for a while and then meet up at some point in the future and go on from there. How do I go about suggesting this? Or is it to early to be suggesting it? I realise its a big ask, especially seeing as we're both students. The obvious question that’s going to crop up, is how is it going to work? being so far apart and little money. I don’t know the answer to it. All I know is its a big ask of her and I don’t know how to go about doing it. I really like this girl and think I’m falling in love with her. Any advice?
