Subject: relationships

I have been seeing/getting to know this guy for about 2 weeks. We have both admitted that we really like eachother and want to go out. However, we have both been hurt allot in past relationships. When we talked about actually going out he said that he is still getting over his ex-girlfriend who hurt him allot and he is afraid of getting hurt. What should I do?
