He's out of UC Riverside and back in the day had offers from UNLV, Washington State, Montana, Colorado State, Pepperdine, UC Davis, Nevada and many others...looks like the perfect replacement for Obioha. Now it's a matter of who out recruits the other coaching staffs. If GP does the better job, all things being equal, Niagara has a great chance to win the conference and go to the NCAA tournament. In order to win the MAAC you will need a kid that can score. Although we know Chris Casey was a terrible game coach, he did bring in Dukes from USC. Paulus needs to make a big splash in the portal, get a 4 star transfer kid that isn’t producing in a big conference but has a chance to shine in the MAAC. It's up to him and his staff to outrecruit the other programs in the MAAC. So far he has two 3 stars players and Martinez who was offered by Northwestern and some other noteable programs. The MAAC program that out recruits and out coaches the others will win the conference.
