As an afterthought she stripped off the robe and her clothes and stepped into the shower, sliding shut the heavy glass door before she let the hot water steam up the area. A soft sigh escaped her lips - her stubborn spirit lessening a bit to just show the hurt now that she was hidden from his gaze. He had hurt her feelings and even though she was a decently tough girl, when she got hurt, it was an awful thing.
