She would be completely fine with him having his 'breathing space' and 'time with his boys' as long as he didn't tell her he was taking her out that night and then stand her up. As an afterthought she stripped off the robe and her clothes and stepped into the shower, sliding shut the heavy glass door before she let the hot water steam up the area. A soft sigh escaped her lips - her stubborn spirit lessening a bit to just show the hurt now that she was hidden from his gaze. He had hurt her feelings and even though she was a decently tough girl, when she got hurt, it was an awful thing.
