Subject: Want to scare people?

Hi everyone!

It's that time of year again! I know we have spent the entire year trying to entertain and delight patons young and old, but that time is at an end now. Now it is time to scare the @#$% out of them!

The annual "Castle of the Damned" will be held at Hammond Castle in Gloucester starting this Friday night and running weekend nights until Nov 1st , from 6:30 - 10:30 pm each night.

This is a fun event to volunteer for, because it involves very little time commitment. If you are enthusiastic and want to get involved, we can use you for 1, 3, 5 or even all 8 nights of the show! No prior acting experience is neccessary. Come to the meeting at the castle tomorrow night, or contact us.

The terror is busily being created by the directors, Dave Stickney (my husband!) and Dean Calusdian (independent horror film-maker and formerly played Rumblepeach the Poet at KRF) As well as a great creative team sure to rival any we've had in year's past. I think this year's show will be the best ever! We need you to bring your own personal brand of horror and help us terify the masses in what the Boston Globe calls "the scariest one of the bunch" and rates head and shoulders above Spooky World.

If you just want to visit, i suggest you bring some brave friends to cower with ;-) It is only $10 to get in, and in addition to the haunted castle, there is also shopping from unique vendors such as Tinker's Backpack, Silvermane, and more. And food, warm drinks, T shirts and more are available at the Coffin Cafe (run by yours truly) Visit www.hammondcastle.org for more info

In addition to actors, we need help in other capacities as well. We are in need of people to work at the coffin cafe, and child care for our adorable and non-terrifying two children. Contact me if you can help us out!

love to all,
Ryann

If you *really* want to scare people, tell 'em it costs $22 bucks to get in! Oops, was that my outside voice? ;-)

Now children, pay attention. Use your indoor voice and READ the message you are replying to. The post clearly says $10.00 admission; you assumed too much...

Silly boy, I was making a wry comedic allusion to the frighteningly high price of *another* entertainment venue, in the true style of this board since its inception. Don't be so serious!! ;-)

D'oh. No silver star from teacher for me. Now I have to sit in the corner with the pointy hat.
