I watched chapter 1 and I have to say I like the visuals. Very Aeon Flux, plot reveals itself as you watch it. I especially liked the visual used on the door at the end. I don't want to give it away.
Can't wait to watch chapter 2 and 3.
Looking for an evil overlord? I'll do it!!

It was really engaging, got right into the characters, there were a couple of problems, chapter 1 played fine, but chapter 2 seemed to lose sound halfway through, and chapter three dies just as alx was in the tunnel reaching for something.
might have been connection problems i will try it later.
but it looks good so far, lets see more.
and Gumby, what do you mean you can play an evil overlord? HMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

I'm still working my way though chapter 2 but the quality seems pretty good.
I've downloaded the files and am playing the locally just to avoid any kind of network interference.
As for Evil Overlord. I've been watching you for years Bill and I think I'm ready to take on a new roll. Of course I'll have go get a new name. No one could possibly take an evil overlord name Gumby seriously. It's the roll I was born to play.

Sorry Gumby, evil is a bit out of your character range. I can see Gumby Cranky Underling perhaps, but evil, nah.
Cute and Cuddley Gumby just does not go with evil, mischievous ok, disturbed is a given, evil? Not our Gumby.

The sound in Chapter 2 cuts out from 4:03 to the end.
I downloaded the file just to be sure there was no network interference and it appears that the problem is with the file.

Well, haven't managed to see all of all three chapters (computer problems), but anyway...
Were you using film or DV? What did you have for set lighting and did you have a lighting guy? Scenes were either way too dark all around or had spots where the light was "burning." What were you using for sound recording? Sounded decent but a little too unnatural. Did you have a steadicam rig for the first sequence? Some shots using a moving camera were framed awkwardly...
Just a short blurb of a critique for now, I can natter on more when I have more time and can type at length...or feel free to e-mail me and we can swap horror stories (I recruited a bunch of people to help me with a short film last year...still working on it, too. Oy).
