Subject: Back in New England at last!!!!

Hi all,
Well, we finished our sixth weekend at the Maryland Renaissance Faire with a bang - we sold out of every last CD we brought, got a standing ovation from the King and court at the final Pub Sing, wherein the King dubbed us "the Kings' Minstrels"; We were insulted by a trained professional (Christophe the Insulter); we traded CDs with the Pyrates Royale,Dined with the Evil Duke and Duchess again, exchanged teary farewells with the Revel Grove Cathedral Choir, with many of our fans, the with the Pyrates themselves, and drove the 10 or so weary hours back to Boston town, arriving around 1:00 am last night (this morning).
What a faire it was! Great music, acting, street bits, guest artists, vendors (Oh, the vendors!!) and a gorgeous site with multiple large stages, frequent attendance of 20,000 people, and yet still plenty of relatively quiet places where two relatively quiet minstrels can sing songs of Love and Death, and play jigs,slipjigs, hornpipes, and reels.
We are thinking of going back in the studio very soon to begin work on a new album, and we are very much looking forward to the Connecticut faire this weekend, and then to visit KRF after that.
I hope to see you all (except for Loretta, Gumby, and especially Frank) at one venue or another before Samhain is upon us!

Welcome back boys! I missed ya!

Uncle Bill....about that title there for Marie, Purveyor of Official Evil Comfy Slippers... that sounds pretty official. Is she now family? (insert hopeful smile). As Molly Malone she's been my sister for some time. Hey.....maybe Mom should have two kids ;)!
