Subject: My Pony

Hi, I'm Anna and I have a problem with my 3 yr old gelding. He's has very bouncey gaits and a lot of energy. He's got spring fever right now so he's very skittish. He is going to be in a show in a couple of weeks and I want him to calm done and relax so I can get some riding done. Right now it's a little hard because not all of our snow has melted and I can only ride him on our driveway and our neighbor's driveway. It's about 1 mile for the whole trip. Anyway he's very skittish and I need to ride him without him shying at every 10 feet or starting to go faster without me telling him to go faster. What should I do?
Anna
