She nodded a little, though she knew that wasn't quite true. He could have called before he went in, just saying he was planning on checking himself in but he had chose not to for some reason and that hurt her deeply. His jaw tightened a little as she moved away from him and he ran a hand down his face. "Sandwich is fine..." He hadn't expected this to be easy and he repeatedly reminded himself of that before slowly trailing after her into the kitchen. He knew that he had hurt her feelings, but he couldn't let himself dwell on what had happened before. He had apologized multiple times and that was all that he could do. He got himself a bottle of water from the fridge and then slid to the floor to sit leaning back against the cupboards, right next to Achilles.
