Author: Lucius Slapmahfro [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 21:08:26 12/12/02 Thu Colleen, We appreciate your comments as they were right on point… Perhaps you’re not aware of the simple fact that the Canadian ‘Smalls’ website is defunct, as is their band, leaving their few fans (who are consistently incapable of spelling correctly) with no where else to go or little better to do than to continually annoy us… One would think that if the Canadian ‘Smalls’ were as popular as these few would like us to believe, then their website should still be operational if, for nothing else, to sell CDs’ that should still be in print... Since this clearly is NOT the case, to any intelligent individual it becomes quite obvious that they were, in fact, nothing more than a local Canadian bar circuit curiosity gone the way of the Edsel… We have long since stopped responding to these fools and I suggest you do the same… Lucius Slapmahfro [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]

Author: No name [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: 04:05:34 06/20/03 Fri i wonder which would be harder, finding a CD from the canadian smalls, who actually have released cds, or finding a cd from a terrible cover band? at least they have a fancy 8 x 10 group headshot that could be used in liner notes if a CD was ever released. start up kazaa and search for the smalls, i did. funny, but i haven't been able to locate any of the fake smalls music there. i guess at this point, to any intelligent individual anyway, it becomes quite obvious that they are, in fact, nothing more than than a local Chicago cover band that's crowning moment was playing at a buddies wedding. don't worry about them going the way of the edsel, at least someone actually bought one of those. i clicked on the music and sales links, they show a picture of a stick figure leaning on a shovel drinking coffee. is that some kind of prince glyph type thing? stick figure under sales = big stars? ok, i guess. i also happened to notice that all of the songs in their playlist were written and originally performed by other bands. can this be? well i guess if you start a band by ripping off someone else's name, you might as well just keep right on truckin and play other people's music as well. oh, by the way, sorry about us canadians annoying you, but you and luscious seem to be the only ones who care, considering everyone else that comes here is looking for the real band. if it wasn't for us "fools" being fooled by your copyright infringement, the counter on the first page of this site would read about 3. you guys seem to be outnumbered. "AND NOW, TO THRILL AND AMAZE YOU WITH POORLY PERFORMED OLD BEATLES SONGS, THE FAKE AMERICAN SMALLS AND THEIR LEGION OF 3 FANS!!" Yikes. Do you all share an appartment?
