Yeah� I read the article� What did it say?� "Everybody keeps telling me that this is the fourth time the smalls are breaking up," says Terry. "But those other farewell shows were when we were moving to Vancouver or Austin. This is it."

Sounds to me like one of those "Going out of business" sales that some stores keep posting to generate a little traffic through their doors� Ya ain�t foolin� nobody now, just as The Canadian Smalls couldn�t fool anybody then� The Canadian Smalls ain�t around anymore �cause they couldn�t hack it� They couldn�t make enough money to stay afloat� They couldn�t get enough paying fans through the doors... or at the record stores� They share company with a hundred thousand other little bands that couldn�t earn a living� Playing music for a living isn�t for weekend warriors or hobbyists� It�s for the pros who can compete within the atmosphere of survival of the fittest� and The Canadian Smalls ended up as fish good for bigger fish� Professional fish�

and a "farewell tour" �cause they were moving to another town? Local Yokels!� I guess next you�ll tell me their �tour bus� was in need of repair� One more thing� Just in case it may have escaped your notice� that article wasn�t done by Rolling Stone Magazine� I mean really� More Goat Than Goose? DOT COM???

Your insistence on continually auguring from your point of obvious weakness (and giving me ammunition for mine ya dumb fuck) is giving Canadians a bad name� If your fellow Canadians had any pride in themselves, they�d take you out back and kick the livin� shit outta your poor, stupid, autistic ass for insulting them so in front of the rest of the world� Maybe even kick some sense into you� But I doubt it� When you�re dumb, you�re dumb all day�

Just go pick up one of their CDs. If the other Smalls keep their name, fine. I just think them being musicians and all they could respect the 11 years of blood, sweat, and tears that the Smalls put into their music. It goes to show the character and passion they possesed for their music and their fans all over the world. At least listen to what the Smalls put out there before you pass judgement. They were amazing musicians, who filled their music with passion and power. I saw them live many, many, times, and many thousands of others did as well. To have a following as large and dedicated as the Smalls did shows they were making something special. Listen to them at
