*After a few moments to recover, the stallion slowly rose to his feet. He coughed painfully, blood dripping from his lips. He raised his head to watch the mare and her companion leave. Once again, his mind is overcome by anger, and betrayal. She didn't understand, the wizard had the power to kill him, torture him, without even allowing Perseus to fight back. This was the only opponent he could not beat. His mind flashed back to his homeland, before he became the apprentice to pure evil. He was a gladiator, he was strong, quick, and intelligent, as well as heart-less...when it came down to his fighting. He was still young, probably seven or eight if he had kept track. He had been with many mares, not for a relationship, certainly not for love, but for immediate satisfaction. He watches Aerial, her delicate features walking away from him. This was the only mare he had ever thought he could love. She was nothing but a manipulative whore, or at least she was playing the part. He wasn't sure what she had used him for, what her plan for him was or would have been. For it was obvious that she had no interest in him as a stallion, but as a pawn in her little game.*

I don't know what you are Aerial, surely not a mare for you do not hold the characteristics of one made to love and nurture. I surely have no idea what your goal or intentions were for our time together, for I see none, and I am not stupid, though you would like to make me out to be that way. But I now understand that you can't be connected with something that has a weakness. And yes, my master is my one weakness, he holds my life in his hands and can do with it what he pleases. But let me tell you Aerial, you have a weakness too, and I will find it. You have betrayed me, and believe me, I will remember that.

*He stops himself from going on. What he really wanted was to win her back, but it was not an option. If she came back to him, perhaps it would be another story, but until then, he would wait for his plan to unfold.*

with a sardonic yawn to replace himself within the spotlight the beige demon grins condescendingly at the confident arrangement set upon the young stallions features. it amused him that any individual could be naive enough to believe that they could best aerial at her own game. from his own observations, there was but one capable of such feats. and when confronted, the sygian fatale blew the topic with a snide remark and imminent departure.
however, he wished the passionate mascu luck in his quest, silently, and with a bored glance to the owner, pivotted upon his sinewd hinds and broke up the gathering with his departure. not wishing to leave the conniving elder male to extract valuable informations from his psyche at leisure. a strong, three-beat gait carried him toward the horizon, a differnt route than taken by his partner, for he took care to stay well out of her range for the present.
at thought of her a memory drifted across the screen of his consciousness and relaxtion calmed the muscles he had had no idea were worried. the task was done. the gift was given. gift. if it could be called that anyhow.
as the golden flame exploded in an extravaganza of magnificent hues. alighting the element with it's passion before it's place would be usurped by a satellite of smaller proportions, but greater proximity.
