Subject: Ten sacred laws...

She approaches, lilac and lavendar gown whispering behind her. A small scroll is unrolled, and she reads her laws in a clear voice.

"Forasmuch as thou art a citizen of this land, thou shalt obey all laws set forth to govern and protect this fair land.

Firstly: Respect they fellow humans, aid those in need, and conduct thyself with honor and integrity.

Secondly: Keep the peace. Wreak havoc not upon our fair land, and harm not a fellow creature, be they man, woman, or beast.

Thirdly: Thievery, murder, rapine, destruction, and other henious acts shall be punishable to the fullest extent of the laws set forth.

Fourthly: Rewards will be due to those who commit noble deeds, punishment to those who commit foul.

Fifthly: Do thy duty by thy lord, pay thy taxes be they not extreme. Obey and respect thy overlords.

Sixthly: Enslavement of another man or woman for whatever purpose is illegal, and punishable as a crime. Thou art warned.

Seventhly: Misuse of any power, privlages, lands, titles, or any other accumulated wealth or benefits shall not be tolerated.

Eightly: Ensorcelling any creature, man, woman, or beast, for any reason or purpose is forbideen, especially when that ensorcelling results in gain.

Ninthly: Considerable and consequential conflicts shall be taken before the petitioner's immediate superior.

Tenthly: Lords will be expected to levy troops in a cause of the Crown. Declarations of war and other diplomatic matters are the responsibility of the crown and no other.

Obey these laws and treat thy fellow human with respect and honor, and peace shall reign upon our fair land."


She curtseys low, once, re-rolling the scroll and inserting the parchment into the case carried at her girdle.
