Well, I've heard that piercings & what have you effect your aura to a certain extent. Is that what you were referring to?

As far as what *I* think, I usually get piercings with specific intent, & use them as a tool (like any other) for metaphysical purposes.

Basically, I think that it really depends on the intentions. If you are getting a piercing to have a piercing & be trendy & other vapid reasons, then no, I don't think it has any sort of metaphysical effect. But if you are getting it with metaphysical intent, then yes, I think it does.
