Medeis, hey...I may have an answer...sorry if it doesnt work.

I dont know what version u have but they are all fairly similar!

If you click in teh very top right hand corner of the main window, and go to OPTIONS, then PREFRENCES, this should bring up a list of stuff on the left hand side...including somehting called FILE TYPES. Click it, and it should bring up somehitng on the left hand side with a load of weird file formats. At the bottom there should be a check box saying 'associate with CD', make sure this is checked, and next time u put a CD in it should read it. If not...Im sorry, I cant help!
