yeah, bright eyes, wake up! *stifles a mighty yawn herself*

hey med! *hugs* setting up a page like that "in nothing flat" takes work! lol but seriously, it's nothing.

*looks around to make sure no one else is listening, and then cups her hand to her mouth and whispers* "i cheat!"

i keep a file in my server that's a template for all my other pages, so all i have to do is cut-and-paste my template onto whatever new page i want to make. so i already have the html, body, head, etc. tags up and running, with my background and text/link colors already programmed. everything's organized with invisible tags so all i have to do is place the cursor in the proper section and enter my code.

of course, i use straight html, no pagebuilders or shortcuts, spreadsheets, or javascript. i'm still learning java. but anyway, if you right-click on my page (not on an icon) you can choose the option "view source." your computer should then bring up a window where you can see all my code. this technique is the main tool i used to learn how to create all the neat-o pages i really liked and wanted to emulate.

and it takes me about two hours to set up a page, depending on how complicated i want to make it. it takes this long because
a.) i work on two or three pages at a time
b.) i'm always re-loading and previewing after tiny tweak i make
c.) i'm a perfectionist and i don't let a project go once i've started.

lol

so there! now you know delena's secrets to setting up a page like that in nothing flat! :0)

ps. SOON TO COME:
new tables for delena's Diablo II webring!!!
