Ok, that was cool! But some things:

Getting a 1.5 GHz processor i wouldnt reccomend to much, ive seen only the blink of an eyelids difference between a 700MHz and a 1GHz processor, although im sure when running high power software and games you would notice a little more. but 1GHz i would say is sufficient, and costs less. Anything more and your not gonna see toomuch difference.

RAM- this isnt permenant, it is wiped everytime you restart the machine. Although, when you install a program, everytime you run the program, it uses the amount of RAM it needs, so when runnign many programs it uses a lot.

Hard drives need to be large, although you can upgrade these easily, so dont worry if when you buy it doesnt have loads.

Burning CDs - basically creating a CD of your own like Delena says, wow it sounds well cheap over there to do that. i do that at home, although it can be fairly ecpensive to do so. Ive also got DVd combined drive, but find ive never use it. Dont know why?!

Another thing to look for with a new PC is its cache, which is another temporary storage area for data...or, frequently used data. Ever noticed that once you load a page up from the net, the next time you access it, it loads up faster? its because it has been cached. Good thing to have. i think standard is L1 128KB (?) and L2 256KB. try and get as much as you can.

Good luck with your ADSL!! You keep your eye on that kid medeis, he'll fleece ya! haha, just check with me and D, and well make sure hes not up to anything dodgy.

we wanna see you gaming online - its a challenge!
