 hee hee! i'm glad my enthusiasm is contagious. perhaps it's contagious enough that you'll find you have this overwhelming urge to buy yourself your own copy of D2 (and the expansion!!!!!!) and then join my clan. wouldn't that be a trip?
it's not just an internet thing. it's single player too. it's a computer game, just that these games have interactive internet capabilities. seems that everything nowadays that's worth anything is internet capable. :0)
but don't go out and buy yourself everquest, people. i just bought it, played it, and it's a great concept, but not something i would play.
the graphics aren't that impressive. it's extremely in-depth and complex, but it's not user-friendly. it's a system that you really have to devote time and effort to learning. and you must learn it well. not something you can simply sit down and play, like Diablo II! (lol, do you think i'm pushing D2 just a bit?)
anyway, on my way to return everquest: the ruins of kunark and try out Black & White.
or hell, maybe i'll just go play D2 and get my character to beat Diablo (the Boss in the game) in Hell mode. lol that would be a trip! (for those of you not D2 savvy, beating big daddy in hell mode means that you've already gone through all 4 acts and beaten Diablo in normal mode and nightmare mode. hell mode is, like, ungodly difficult)
we'll see, hmm? maybe tomorrow or in a few days i'll have a review for B&W?
