In reply to: storm 's message, "inspiration for a lovely sunny sunday morning (and a dark pic!)" on 07:04:28 05/06/01 Sun

Where fate is sealed on battle's field,
And many low are laid,
The wisest mind says stay behind,
And let the fools get slayed.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt.

Apple's is ripe when they're ready,
When pears is ripe they fall,
What must happen will happen,
Or it won't happen at all.

Dream like you will live forever, live like you will die tomorrow.

(My all time favorite) I've decided I won't die today.

There is no day so dark it can not grow darker, and no man so strong he can not be crushed.

A Riddle:
My first is in boulder, I have a stone.
My second is thrice in an apple alone.
My third is found at the end of a hem.
My fourth starts a stick, a stop, and a stem.
My fifth is in the middle of pop, but not pip.
My sixth comes first in not and nip.
My first half can stop a broad rivers flow.
My second half's no daughter, the other you know.
I'm found in Puddin' and pie and good wine.
I know your name, can you tell me mine?

Try and figure out the answer and I'll post it within the next couple days.
