I need your thoughts on the Garmin 240Blue vs. the Furuno LS6100. The Garmin is a bit more powerful as my needs are both fresh and saltwater. I know both are fine for this. I can get the Garmin for about $75 less and wondering if the Furuno is that much better and I should spend the extra cash for it.

Furuno has a better screen and outstanding features. If you don't have the cash for a 600L both the LS 6100 and LS 4100 are worth a hard look.

Here's a LS4100 with ducer under $200
