1. PAPUA BESANA = INDEPENDENCE FOR PAPUA (now southern region)
2. Self-autonomy for Southern Region = Maximum power for self governing BUT within the independent state of Papua New Guinea.

The idea looks exciting. Let it be that way. I would rather call it More Autonomy for Papuan Region instead of Southern Region. Why I say let it be that way is bcause, it will act as leverage for bargaining our position for our regional interest. While I am exited about the resurrection of the old but modified Papua Besena concept, I am not convince that it will work in Papuan Region.
My fellow Milne Bayans, IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW GOOD THE SYSTEM MAY LOOK OR IS STRUCTURALLY STRUCTURED BUT IF THE DRIVER OF THAT SYSTEM IS CORRUPT OR CORRUPTABLE, HE WILL CERTAILNY DRIVE THAT SYSTEM INTO THE DITCH. This has been the case for the successes or failures of the Old Provincial Governments and now the the so called Reformed Provincial Governments systems in Milne Bay Province and else where in PNG. Our problem is not so much on systems of governments rather our greatest problem is human management, attitudal problems culminating from search for material accumilation and gratifying self greed.

Never the less, If Bougainville is to be given her autonomy and Independence or whatever, in 14 years time, it is about time we Papuans organised ourselves for the next 10 years to capture the national government's constitutional moves for Bougainville.

Make it your dream and turn it into reality by preparing for the next election 2007 as the first onslaught operation. Make awareness now. Start mobilising now both legally and administratively. Come 2006 start campaigning. Those who don't support Papuan autonomy, not to be voted in. Those who speak to depend Papuan resourse, Milne Bay resources should be the once to be elected. For example, in 14 years time, Motu Koita to be given autonomy over Port Moresby etc and so Papuan Region as a whole. Milne Bayans should support this move. What do you think ?

Your turn now.

Over and out!!!
