I think Milne Bay should be the focal point for any kind of move towards greater autonomy. The Motu-Koita haven't got a resource base to work from. It will take them decades to be viable. Whereas Milne Bay already has resources, albeit, low scale, but something to start from. We can be economically viable. We are already assisting Oro and Central. I think that gives us some leverage to work with. We cannot go on the way we have for the last 28 years. Waigani has corrupted money that rightfully belongs to the people and we need to control it ourselves, especially if it comes out of our own land- province. It is the control of our own destiny, if you will, that will give us pride in our work. We work to better our home province, provide services for our people, with our own resources. Once we have done that, then we can start looking at our neighbours to see how we can assist. They need to have the same vision. They must be doing the same thing to better their province and lifestyle. It should be a mutual thing countrywide. Central government control is too strong, and too corrupt for the good of this country. Autonomy is the next stepping stone.

Thanx for letting me sound like I know what I am talking about. I shall now get off my pedestal.

Good day to you.
