Paulsen and his "Rainbow Technique" have been discussed here in the past. Please check this thread for an example. Also check out the article here.

As for the technique he teaches, I was sent a description of it by a friend, and in my opinion it is a grossly distorted version of Kriya, and is contaminated by New Age rubbish. In my opinion it would be a big mistake to practice this technique in preference to those you have learned through SRF.

On the question you raise about wanting to make progress as rapidly as possible as time is not something to waste. I think these are admirable sentiments. It is not clear from your post if you have taken the higher Kriya initiations from SRF, but if not I believe that these will be much better than any techniques Paulsen offers if you are prepared to make the effort. SRF offers four initiations in three stages, and these higher techniques offer the opportunity to make rapid progress for the sincere devotee. I think it is a mistake to look for shortcuts elsewhere.
