I was only trying to make the point that people were authorized to give the kriya initiation by PY. And further that SRF, after the death of Rajasi, instituted the current arrangement of only the president as the "spiritual successor" has the authority to authorize other's (meaning monastics) to do so.
But I'm not trying to start any controversy. It's whatever one wants to believe. As far as Mr. Paulsen, I've never read any of his works, don't know anything about him except that I've seen his advertisements in Yoga Journal etc., and I've visited his website. It didn't resonate with me.
I'm a member of SRF. Have been for quite a while, but I do have somewhat of an independent streak, that is, I make judgements myself regarding the direction the organization is headed, from where it was when I first joined.
