Dwayanu,
It's seems that you're finally finding your stride and we're getting somewhere with the Christ Child Controversy. In your last post one of the weird things you said was that "scientists are baffled by things they are seeing." Like what? Also you say, "as far as the return of the builders, it is in full swing." So does this mean the apocalyse is going to happen soon and I can finally be debt free? Get real man, doom and gloom is so not in vogue unless you count Pat Robertson as a buddy.
A while back I inquired if anyone knew what the reasons were for the Sunburst community's demise or downsizing(if you're politically correct). I was referred to this book by Dusk and Willow Weaver, "Sunburst: A People, A Path, A Purpose". I secured a copy of the book for less than a dollar on abebooks.com and read through it last week. The book was written in 1982 before Norman Paulsen became an author of his own autobiography,"Sunburst: Return of the Ancients." Dusk and Willow Weaver were husband and wife residents of Sunburst at the time they wrote their book. In their chapter on reasons for Sunburst going through a massive shift were the following reasons; some of the members had problems with the primitive lifestyle of Sunburst, some had problems with Sunburst moving more into animal husbandry practices(raising beef without antibiotics for eventual slaughter to sell meat to local meateaters), one of the leaders left because he didn't want to live a celibate life which was a main tenent of Sunburst life, some didn't feel their real talents were being used since most jobs it seems were either working in the fields, at their organic produce stores, carpentry & woodworking, and baking. Another reason why some people started leaving was by Dusk and Willow's admission because many people had problems with Norman talking about his visions and strange encounters. In particular, angels flying around the universe in interstellar spacecrafts. After people made a mass exodus Dusk and Willow said that the remaining Sunburst members thought that Norman Paulsen should write an autobiography with all his visions and experiences so that future want-to-be members would be told to read Norman's book so that they knew up front what they were getting into. At the time of the writing of there book the Sunburst community was looking at what they were going to do in the future. Apparently the leadership of it decided to scrap Sunburst eventually and start the Solar Logos Foundation. If anyone needs any page numbers or direct quotes from the authors just let me know. Sorry this turned out to be so long...
