Ketch:
I'd like to make sure I understand you correctly. Would you kindly re-verify that you are saying there are actually 3 sets of lessons:

(1) 1925 original lessons authored by Swami Dhirananda (whoever he was. I've never heard of him).
(2) Praecepta lessons authored by PY and/or others in SRF.
(3) The SRF lessons copyright 1956, (authored/edited by "who knows???").

Is that what you're saying? If "yes", do you know if the original 1925 lessons are accessible anywhere?

Master may have been dissatisfied with the early lessons, and wanted them revised, resulting in the later set(s) of lessons. However, based on the very recent (to me) stunning revelation that the Whispers from Eternity I've always read is a thoroughly botched edit of his inspired writing, it's natural to question if other publications edited by SRF may be analogous to processed white flour bread, when I want whole wheat, even if "raw". Frankly, I feel like I've been "tricked" by this Whispers from Eternity fiasco, and I resent it.

I believe the SRF monastics are very solemn about safeguarding the purity of Master's teachings, and I definitely give them the benefit of any doubt. Unfortunately, I've become convinced there is in fact corruption in Whispers, to a severe degree, and I'm disturbed enough to want to explore further, by getting closer to original source materials wherever possible.

Thank you.
