The original 1925 lessons seem to have been written largely by Swami Dhirananda, who also co-wrote "The Science of Religion" and some other works. One of his followers, who runs the Amrita Foundation has indicated her intention to eventually place the original lessons at the Amrita Foundation website (except for lessons on Kriya techniques). However the website has simply said "Coming Soon" for a few years now.

Dhirananda split with Yogananda in 1929, and after that the lessons were reviewed and expanded into Yogananda's Praecepta lessons. These Praecepta lessons are currently distibuted by Amrita.
