Subject: SRF ANANDA controversy

In lite of the many anti SRF sites propagated by Ananda and other organizations on the web, I have asked Sankara Saranam-head of the Pranayama Institute, to verify the validity and importance of these criticisms, in particular those found on the following sight http://yogananda-dif.org/betrayal.htm. Sankara's response may be read through following this link http://www.pranayama.org/SRF-Ananda.html. He has recently followed up this discussion with his own suggestions to SRF through a letter to Sri Mrinalini Mata, senior monk of SRF. Sankara Saranam is very much a model disciple of Yogananda with an encyloepedic knowlege of Pranayama and its various applications. I would encourage anyone from either side of the debate or anyone interested in SRF to read the aforementioned pieces by him. Jesus said that by our love for one another the world would regcognize us as his disciples, indeed this is how all followers of truth are recognized. May God's grace and love be reflectd in us always.

Arturo
