Normally when the populated World is upset by Catastrophic events of such nature, Global memory is temporary lost (see the Yugas) and every fact of this nature becomes a Myth.

If you believe the OFFICIAL Church interpetration of Genesis tales, evidently there is a contradiction here in your statements. I'm confused, please explain:
One second you seem to support 'the club of academics that claim to uphold the ultimate Truth in these matters that represent the contemporary 'status quo' of the Global Scientific Community and then on the other hand, if the theory does not conform with your mind blueprint, then you switch -in an instant- to the other band and support wholeheartly The Bible interpretation.

You do not seem to agree with great minds such as Plato, Francis Bacon, Charles Berlitz, Robert Temple, Ignacius Donnelly, Lewis Spence and Norman Paulsen to name a few...

For example: The ruins of Tiahuanaco in the Andes have been dated by Poznansky as going back 10,000 to 12,000 years.

The builders were great engineers indeed(in reference to the ruins of the lost Inca Empire) Don't you Agree?
