I read a very interesting book years ago that said that the famous Atlantis continent is none other than the American continent, both North and South America. It went through a long reasoning process, I wish I could remember more of it, but one thing that stuck in my mind about it is that just by the sheer size that Atlantis was supposed to be, covering from the arctic in the northern hemisphere down almost to antarctica in the southern hemisphere, it couldn't be any other. Atlantis was not entirely submerged, for if such a huge continent had been submerged we would obviously have found it. Instead, most of it is still above water, and many of us are standing on it. Nevertheless, scientists working off the coast of Florida and the Bahamas have found some parts of it that did submerge, with artifacts and architecture and such, and it's been reported in the media for years. Documentaries have also been shown on tv with many more to come no doubt.
