Perceiving implies the existence of awareness(I AM). Pure awareness or the unmanifest cant be perceived, conceptualized, objectified, or described. Yes is exactly the experience in deep sleep and anesthesia. Mike wasnt there because the concept of "I" was absent, there was no time and space because what you call "time" and "space" are concepts.

How do you know there is conciousness in this state? The only thing you can take for sure is "I Am". All concepts including the concept of a "you unconcious in the anesthesia" appear in the "I AM". So if there is GOD there or if there is nothing there what difference can make? The only thing you know is this question is appearing in conciousness.

The concepts of "pure-awareness","non-awareness", "phenomenal void", "unconciousness", "nothing" appear to conciousness(I AM). The "void" or "unmanifest" cant be experieced, there is no I AM to know it.

The concept of the brain producing conciousness appear to conciousness. How can the brain produce it? I prefer to accept conciousness simple is(both are concepts).
You will reapeat anesthesia can produce non-awareness. All these are concepts appearing to the "I AM". To talk about absence of conciousness doesnt make sense, because this cant be experienced.

I know i cant convince you about this, my logic isnt very good. Anyway the concepts of you and me appear to the "I AM" :-).
