I don't know either. This is all just conjecture on my part, but based upon my understanding that SRF isn't at all pleased with the publication of Sri Durgaji's book. If that then is true, as I strongly believe it to be, and as this post you've lifted from the yogananda.net site proves, the former SRF nun who published the memoirs (sp) would have taken the most stringent precautions to assure that Sri Durgaji's book would stand up against the expected SRF backlash.
But since I, nor you, nor Kare know the truth of this matter, and it does seem on the face of it that Kare has a point, I will write to the publisher and try to get her reasons for this.
