Subject: 'Nother Gold Flight

*realizes that there aren't very many mature bronzes and that a queen just flew and that a green is flying but is willing to wait for pursuers because that first clutch went FAST*

A defiant shriek precedes the arrival of a young gold going about her first flight. Bearing down with a shocking velocity on a small rodent, the thing is speared mercilessly to the ground with a small thud. Small fierce teeth rip into the flesh to bring forth the sweet, hot, nurturing red nectar that hummed the life through the animal.

After two more similar kills, her hide is glowing an obnoxious amount and she twirls her petite head backward to see if any would dare attempt to catch her. Eyes flashing an elegantly deep violet, she rockets into the air with another tremendous bugle of challenge.

((Thus to stay in stasis until the bronzies and brownies can come))
