Tin watched her, carefully helping her, supporting her in the air. He heard her words, and saw her beauty. The sunlight that shone down on them caressed her hide, surrounding her with a green aura that made her look like some wild spirit of the earth. Oh, how he longed to hold her, to caress that glowing hide, to twine necks with her, to love her like no other. But how could he compete with a bronze? It would always happen that she chose the larger, more powerful flit. But he was older, smarter, and more experienced than the other...maybe. He would do everything in his power to catch her, but was it all futile?
