 Gee, this has been going on for a year now and it looks like people still make posts. Here's my experiences.

I think the smallest thing I've dared to wear on a public beach is a silk thong that I got at Frederick's of Hollywood. It's sold as underwear and it won't work as swimwear because it is a little too flimsy and wouldn't stay on in the surf, I think. This I have worn on the beach on the Outer Banks right in Kill Devil Hills. However, I only wore it first thing in the morning and left around nine about the time the crowds start arriving. I have also worn skimpy things there lots of other times (and also been naked but that is another story).

The funny thing is other people's reactions. Oh, some will stop and stare but most seem to ignore me. A couple of guys with metal detectors came very close to where I was laying, too. It actually seems like some people studiously ignore me, looking the other way on purpose, but I have not gone out of my way to be seen. I just am there when I am there.

I think the smallest thing I would wear is a silk g-string, the kind with a sliding front, again from Frederick's. I have another regular nylon g-string as well (sold as swimwear). I actually find g-strings more comfortable than a thong but don't ask me to explain.

There are other kinds I want to try but I haven't ran across any in stores (I prefer to buy in person). I want to get a suspender thong (slingshot) sometime and some of those Koala models are mouthwatering, shall we say!

Summer before last I was in Phoenix and had the opportunity to visit the Parr of Arizone store but unfortunately it was the day they were closed and I was only there one day. My luck!
