The reggae band at the Double tree often starts mid-day on weekends playing out side by the street. Note, this is the Double Tree SOUTH of Las Olas Blvd. There are several other ones in town.
The section of beach right out front is very thong friendly and a good place for you to setup. The coffiee shop across the street is thong cool too.
The city of SUNRISE is not on the beach but is way inland along Sunrise Blvd. Go East on Sunrise to the beach. You will find some bars with music there. If nothing is to your likeing go south to Las Olas and park. Walk to the beach front and walk north past a number of bars untill you get to beach place. At Beach Place check out the top woo floors of bars. Also Baha Cabana, just south of Bahia Mar Marina, often has Reggae or Jimmy Buffet like band.
