RX was now at the bomb's location...he sprinted into the room like a dark streak of energy over to the bomb...

RX: so this is it...hmmm..I'll have to do this very carefully...hmmm..what wires should I pull? and how will I detach it from this power generator...

RX looked at the bombs timer which was now only at 20 seconds..

RX: Damn! theres no time! here goes!

RX grabbed onto the bomb and ripped it out of the generator, he then quickly charged up energy and because there was no time to walk back up the stairs he siply dashed upwards and started to smash trough the ceiling of each floor until he smashed out of the top and startled Proto and Nova who were locked in a battle to the death, he flu higher up into the air and then looked at the timer..

RX: damn..only 5 seconds left...theres only one choice now..not enough time to get it safely away and get away myself...............

RX began to charge all of his available power and turned into a giant ball of light, he flu at increadible speeds into the air, so far in fact that he was now in orbit he channeled all of his energy into his energy field to try and contain the explosion from damaging the earth..

RX: Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bomb exploded with massive force and destructive power, but the brunt of the explosion was contained by RX's energy field..at the possible cost of RX as his body took the blast as he did not have his shields around himself but rather around the exlosion, it could be seen from all corners of the earth and from the moon base, a brilliant white light filled the sky, as a small fireball which looked like a small meteor came falling at increadible speeds and velocity, it could be seen because of the re-entry fire...it smashed into the ground with massive force leaving a huge crator...and in the centre of the crator lay the smashed and burned, smoking body of RX!!!!

"So what are you telling us?", Shade Man spat viciously.
"I'm telling you," ,Flash Man replied, "That there's nothing we can do about it."
"But we have the Particle Cannon! We should be able to make short work of them!", Quick Man replied desperately.
"Listen guys. Wily told me that we can't use the cannon, he has sent someone here to destroy Mega Man. We have to keep the space lanes clear. So, no firing the cannon!", Knight Man retorted.
"That makes absolutely no sense! If we aim it away from the Earth, there should be no danger of hitting him!", Quick Man attempted. Flash Man put up his hands, "I know. It seems like the logical thing to do would be to shoot them all down, but we don't have that kind of power, and the cannon cannot fire with the level of speed needed to hit them all."
"I want to point out that there is no atmosphere on the moon!", Quick Man protested.
"Thanks alot Doctor Science!", Shade Man scowled.
"Don't you get it? The moon doesn't exactly look like a round smooth ball, there are more crater impacts here than in Guts Man's Armor! (A private joke..this after seeing Guts Man's remains) "He's right,", Flash Man replied, "If those Meteor chunks come even close to us, some of them might hit the moon. We could be anywhere from completely obliterated to totally unaffected!"
"That's really specific. Thanks!", Shade Man cut in again.
"Listen. If we close down the cannon, and put all power into the energy shield we should be able to stand to worst of it.", Flash Man offered.
"Yeah, from what I saw the largest one is no bigger than a tanker truck, we could withstand a hit like that.",Knight Man put in. Flash Man quickly corrected him. "The shields would fail with anything over the size of a hovercar. No, we can't risk it. Quick Man, you power up the auxillary swivel gun batteries. Get some tech bots down there to man the guns. Shade Man, go to the control center, and keep an eye out for Dr. Wily's visitor. You can also watch the Meteor shower from thier, and power up the cannon if it comes down to it.", Flash Man ran off the orders. "Knight Man and Myself are going to the Power Core to Modify the shields. We need as much energy output fed to the shields as we can muster. Okay everyone, let's get to it!"

The four of them were in a conference room inside Base-W. The forecast calls for a chance of incoming meteors, in many different sizes, all headed towards Earth. Some may bombard the moon, and add more craters to scar the landscape, but Wily prepared them for such an instance. He installed an energy shield. Unfortunately, the Shuttle Zero is piloting is directly in the path of the storm. Can it survive the incoming wave of meteors? Or will he have to turn back?
However--don't expect the Earth to be in danger! These incoming projectiles are no match for the Atmosphereic heat, and friction! But Base-W is left exposed to the Harsh environs of space. Keep it here to find out what happens next! (to be continued)

Ah, and I so agree with Grenade Man. But, fear not fellow Reploids. We shall begin anew...and make it even more interesting. I mean, c'mon...You actually think we'd defeat Wily? He is unbeatable! hehe...so, if we draw to a close, we shall start once more. I think thats how we should work, anyhow...and if we don't, we always have the X board to fall on. Oh, and I'm proud to have RP'd with everyone of you...You've all made my life a little less strenous for the past few months.

This is interesting isn't it? Here, we have Zero on his way to destroy Mega Man. If Mega Man dies...which has never been confirmed by Capcom...then our RPG is with out a main character! I don't plan on having Mega Man die...unless it becomes official, then we have to work our way over to it.
Remeber, Zero is still unstable...he must be perfected. Also, there are still quite a few of Dr. Wily's bots left that haven't even been mentioned. And of course, we could always have our favorites rebuilt. (Or even re-rebuilt.)
I would like to take the direction of looking to the future, and by that future, I mean Mega Man X's world, but it really is not my decision to choose whether or not to end the Mega Man RPG. Especially since it has been just established as its own entity, seperate from the Capcom Community. Here, we are free from Censorship, and free from Capcom's nagging habit of deleting posts at Random.
However, I do feel that this RPG may be coming to a conclusion soon. All that means though is perhaps another chapter can be written, and we can start over. Also, since it is only the core people posting, we can come up with ideas collectively, without having interferrance from outsiders, or people who have no idea about the RPG's past, or present states. Also, I think that instead of possibly rebuilding all of the old robot Masters, we could think about creating new ones. If we each came up with a couple of them, gave them bios, and put them together in a scheme worthy of Wily's doing, then I think we can have a great sequel! Those are just my thoughts for the future!

(Sorry for not posting for a while everyone... Darn finals... I'll start to the point where Cannon just ran away from the Japan spire, leaving Dr. Cossack there.)

Dr. Cossack: Why would the spire shut down like that... Doesn't Wily needs it? I'm better to do a scan of the spire energy readings...

Dr. Cossack typed a few commands on the control pannel of his little flying saucer. The spire energy levels were low, but an unknown energy was beginning to grow. Then, his radio began to emit a message.

Protoman X: This is Protoman X. Dr. Cossack, we have an emergency!!! All the spires have been put into self-destruct! You only have a few minutes to get away from there before it blown up! Escape now!

Dr. Cossack: That's from where that energy reading is from!!! It's a bomb getting ready to explose! I need to get out of here now!

He yelled at his robot masters and Strife to teleport back to the shuttle and to wait for him there. He engaged his saucer at full power to get back to the shuttle, which is faster.

Will he do it in time? We will know soon!

Cannon said that with a computer voice. then he pulled out his laser sword which was a flame sabre now

Cannon:prepare to die!!!!

Cannon leaped to attack

(Cannon is now in a trance which he'll will not talk and will attack a maverick at any costs unless Nova runs away.
