Cannon had just walked in the medical lab to check on RX but he saw duo not knowing who he was he dropped his saber and buster parts

Cannon:W-W-Who Are You!!????

Duo:I am duo you must be Cannon?

Cannon:Y-Y-Yes, you scared me there I thought you were one of wily's and when I saw you I senced your power and I saw you next to megama- MEGAMAN!?

Duo:He is alright

Cannon:alright..where is Dr. Light?

Duo:he is resting

Cannon:I can help repair megaman

Duo: alright I'll move outta your way

Cannon started to work on megaman

Dr. Light practically fell over whn he saw Mega Man. Even thought he was in rough shape, Dr. Wily immediately strapped him down to the table, and got out some stabillizing equipment.
"Will he be alright?", Dr. Light asked.
"Yes, I was able to save him, and bring him here. I knew it was not right for him to die in that place. His future has not yet been decided, and he has a purpose to fulfil. I derive joy from being able to help in some small way."
"Well, Duo, I am honored that you are here. And, I owe you more than I could ever repay you for returning Mega Man safely."
"It is I who owe you Sir. If you remember, Mega Man found me at my worst. You recharged my energy, and that helped me to defeat Wily, and save Mega Man at the end."
"Yes, but I'd figure you'd have called it even then."
"It really doesn't matter. This is how I choose to repay your debt. Healing Mega Man from the Evil Energy was done for the benefit of the Earth. I brought him here as a personal favor. I will continue to be of service as long as I am able."
"Thank you. If it isn't too much trouble though, can you stay by him a little longer. I have grown weak and..."
"Of course Dr Light. You need to rest. Get something to eat when you wake up, and join me here as soon as you can. I will do my best to help him recover."

X was standing against the wall in the hallway adjacent to Cannon and the others. Arms crossed, fott against the wall, he looked to Cannon as he walked by. Holding in his right hand, his saber, and his left, his ever dependable buster cannon.

"Battle so soon, Doc?" X asked, taking stride next to him.

"Wily's goons are comming in fast...So it looks like it."

"I see...Mission Objectives?"

"Take them out, I suppose. And dont get yourself killed, X."

"Understood..." X turned down one of the halls they walked past, and began to jog. "Mission Accepted" he yelled back to Cannon.

Roll was leaving the weapons storage room as he bumped into X. He caught her before she fell, and kissed her forehead. "Wish me luck..." He said to her.

"Good luck, X. Don't die on me out there..."

X smirked, and entered the Weapons room. He glanced at all the pannels, and the walked up to one of the computers.

"State identity..." The computer announced.

"ProtoMan X. Destination 118 Mark III. Authorization Code ALPHA, BETA, ECHO, DELTA."

"Welcome, X. Choose your modification..."

X scrolled down on the moniter. "Hmmm...Which one?" He stopped the screen on his first weapon of choice, Flash Man's weapon, Time Freeze. He smirked, and placed his buster into the slot, letting it power into slot one. His other 4 slots were filled with various other weapons, so there were no more attachments.

Glancing around, X saw one last thing. A Prototype armor, made for MegaMan. He walked over to the container, and tapped in access code overrides. He stepped onto the rack, and the armor began to lock onto him, piece by piece.

Visuals were made clearer, and more absorbed. Weapon copacity was higher, and he could feel the power pulsating throughout his body. He extanded his beam saber, and with a snap-hiss, the blade was twice as long, and it seemed to hum. He smiled to himself, and began walking towards the door. He then got got a transmission through the helmet.

"ProtoMan X. I figured you would use this armor before Mega Man got back. It's not 100% Complete, so do be careful. I wish you the best of luck, Proto."

/At least A few people have faith in me.../ X thought, as he made his way towards the oncomming battle.

...In the meantime...

Duo had gotten his transport and Mega Man back to the rear enterance of Light's lab. Duo caught a glimpse of X making his way down the hall, but ignored him, and rushed Mega into the repair room.

( Will Mega make it into this battle? Only time shall tell...)

Cannon went into the training room to test his new powers when he absorbed that energy from that stasis field. He held out his hand and a blue ball of light came out of his hand

Cannon:interesting...

He started to throw around the blue ball of light from hand to hand but he missed one catch and he droped the blue ball of light but when it hit the ground it made an explosion sending Cannon into the wall

Cannon:Huh....it must be some sort of energy bomb.....lets try it out charged up a little bit more but not drop it let's throw it at somthing..

Cannon typed in a few things into the training room computer and a metel training dummy appeared in the middle of the room

Cannon:well let's see how powerful that energy is...

Cannon held out his han and concetrated real hard on making that energy come back into his hand

The energy ball came back except it was bigger and it was green.Cannon threw it at the dummy and there was a huge explosion filling the whole traning room and the explosion could be heard all over the lab..as for the dummy it was gone

Cannon:well I guess I've found out my upgraded powers

everybody came rushing into the training room

Dr.light:what happened?????

Cannon:I was testing my new powers and um..er I kinda got carried away

Computer:Red aleart! Red Aleart! enemy approching 2,000 ft away

Cannon:lets prepare for battle

While light and X were talkin on what to do Cannon was still worling on RX but then somthin happened that suprised Cannon
A hologram of a scientist apprered over RX

Voice: I am Dr. Yamato and this is the security system on Rx and he will lock up in 5..4..3...2..1 RX will not wake up until his system repairs itself

then the hologram shut off

Cannon:Damnit....

Dr. light:what?

Dr. light had just walked ion the room

Cannon:he's locked up we cannot repair him and all I had to do was boot up his computer chip but he locked until his system repairs it self..and that could take a day to 13 yrs
so...we can't finish him right now..

Dr.light:alright we could use your help on fighting this wily bot that is coming

Cannon:Alright

X walked in

X:Ryujin!

Cannnon:his system is self repairing and he won't be up for a while

X:alright

just then the yellow aleat came on

Computer:wily signal 50 miles away warning high level bot warning....

(well looks like there is goin to be a big battle soon hope this will help the RPG along)

( Thanks. Though I have only about 5 days of school left, I need to check in during second hour. The PoS Mac LCIII would lock up, so I figured we needed archives )

X appeared in the center of the confusion of Lights lab. He laid Nova in the corner, and confined him. Running up to Light, he glanced around.

"What's going on, Doc?! What can I do?!"

"Prepare for Battle, X. I also pray that you've gotten a good upgrade...You'll need it..."

Dr. light and Cannon have been working on RX for the past 40 hrs

Cannon:we're almost done with him jus 8 more hours before he's finished

the radio on the computer turned on

X:Dr. light this is X,Can you send me the codes to beam in? I have a little visitor as a passenger

Dr.light:Sure the codes are 33151

X:thanks

Cannon picked up a entirely different signal coming towards lights lab

Cannon:X can't be coming that quickly

Dr.light: what signal?

Cannon turned the computer signal system..a very different signal came on the computer

Cannon:that signal

Dr.light examined the signal. then his face went from exaust to very aleart

Dr.light:its one of wily's signals

Dr.light turned on the comm

Dr.light:X get here quickly this an emergensy

X:whats the matter?

Dr.light:wily is making his move

( This was supposed to happen a while back, when the spire was going up. Nova didn't post it, lousy bumb )

Nova shielded X was the spire erupted into flames. The explosion would have destroyed X, but the shield kept him up. X dove at Nova, whom in return slid, and their blades clashed in unison. Strike for strike, they matched eachother. The battle raged on, and the spire crumbled below them. The both fell towards the ground, and when they hit, Nova's shield collapsed, and they both flared up. Snarling, X glared at Nova.

"Another Maverick to kill me?"

"The future is better off without you! Besides, Then I can kill Mega Man!"

"You will not *Blades Crash* Kill my brother!"

In rage, he threw out the sword, It slammed into the helmet of Nova, and cracked the crystal on his forehead. Nova collapsed on the ground. X glanced to him.

"There's your Maverick powers...Shattered in that crystal."

He keyed on his comm.

"Dr Light, this is X. Can you send me the codes to beam in? I have a little "visitor" as a passenger"

The spires had gone up. Thier use was lacking, and Wily's final desicion was to have them all self destruct. He still needed time to perfect Zero, but that would come soon. Zero was still young, and his programming circutry was not complete. Wily was also thinking about his ace in the hole. Base-W still had Mega Man, or so he thought.
Duo had been clever, and unknown to everyone there, he had broke in, and rescued Mega Man. He held Mega in his arms, and flew toward Earth. His power was fading fast, since he was using a portion of it to shield Mega Man from the sun's harsh ultraviolet rays. The atmosphere's friction against his shield also took alot out of him. He was nearly exhausted, but he managed to make ground fall. He landed, somewhere in the Canadian wilderness, and decided he could take no more. Hitting the ground, he dropped Mega Man, and toppled over from exhaustion. It would be days before his own power cells soaked up enough energy for him to get going again. And, with Mega Man out of commision, and his own signal too weak for anyone to read it, he was on his own!
