French, you missed your one and only chance to beat big chief! My car is no more race car than yours and it weighs a chunky 3475 with me in it. I have the digital scales to prove it (very expensive 4 corner scales). On my last pass, we put well over 50 pounds in the trunk trying to get the old hardened 10.5 M/T street ETs to bite, to no avail. Big chief was making "WAY" too much power. Therefore I was well over 3500 pounds on that pass. All the things that you are bragging about that your car can do are the very things that are keeping your car from it's true potential (it's ashame I have to tell such a smart person that). My car is mini tubbed, but the back factory seat is still in it. I am sorry you are offended that my car on straight motor can run comparibly with your car "maxxed out". It is the nature of the beast, and in my case, the nature of the black beast. Would you feel better if I told Eddie to let you have the top gun spot? At least you will have it until I get back from work and legitimately beat you...again! Yeah, you ran a good time. But you had to stack a huge dose of nitrous on your car to do it. You do have low ET record (for at least a couple of weeks until I get back from work). You know, Greg Anderson holds the ET record in Pro Stock, but he is not always the winner on race day. I only got the spot, because I showed up, and you failed to. What are you going to do when I start spraying mine? Stack another nitrous system on yours? You are peaked out, and I have only just begun... and you know it! That is why you are offended. Lesson #1 to learn, "there is always someone faster". That goes for me, too. I don,t have a problem accepting that, but I don,t think I can say the same for you. I,ll tell you this much, when Todd's little brother shows up with that small block Mustang, we are both in trouble! If you want #1 top gun spot... you can have it. I,ll beat you "AGAIN" for it. PS - I am very happy that you can drive long distances with your stock gas tank and without overheating. I will also sleep better knowing that you race with a fishing pole hanging out the back of your car. Now that is funny!
