The information obtained from an interview with a Vietnam War veteran is directly related to his or her Military Occupational Speciality (MOS). What do you expect to obtain from your interview ? The interview is a lot like research, because the conclusion can be manipulated by the research criteria, such as the questions asked and to whom. Example: Ask 80 Air Force band members who played concerts in Vietnam: How often were you shot at in Vietnam ? You have a good chance of reaching the conclusion: Absolutely NO Air Force personell interviewed were shot at in Vietnam. However, based on my personal experience as a Marine machine gunner, "Puff" saved my butt at least 3 times and Puff was manned by brave Air Force personell.
