Howdy Fernand;

The only homepage for the 36th Signal Battalion that I can find is at http://unitpages.military.com/unitpages/unit.do?id=104495 . They have 274 former members on their roster and some of them have dates of service which overlap yours. Wow, 1965 was very early during the Vietnam War. Telephone lineman, huh? Ah yes, "pole climbers" (MOS = 36K). I was accidently assigned to a 36K training company at Fort Ord for ten days before the Army discovered its mistake and reassigned me to the 11B's. Oh well, there went my civilian career opportunity. Welcome home, signalman!
