Maybe you were and maybe you weren't, but that doesn't make any difference because the VA is required by law to presume that you were if you were in-country anywhere in the Republic of Vietnam between 1961 and 1971 for at least one day (the heaviest herbicide spraying was Agent Orange between 1965 and 1970 and the ARVNs used a bunch of it too). See http://www1.va.gov/agentorange/ for more information. I'm not sure why you're asking. Have you been diagnosed with one of the diseases associated with Agent Orange exposure like prostate cancer or diabetes type II? If you don't have one of the associated diseases, then I wouldn't worry about it too much.
