Harry, I too do not feel comfortable with the Welcome Home except by other Vets. I also feel like that you that no one knows what I or we went through execpt that of those that were there. Walk in a mile in my shoes, it is a good expression, but no one ever walked in the same shoes as I see it. War is a personal thing, we all see, experience and react to that period and actions of that time in our life and our memories are so mixed so many years later, CRS, Can't remeber Shit comes to mind.
But the now said, We have a greater obligation to make sure that this generation of Warriors never feel, see or experience anything remotely what we did.
So, I would ask you to join all of us in giving Honors to our Troops now and to do your best in forgetting the past, yea I know good luck. But, it is the Present and the past is what we should not pass on. What was the phrase, You Bic for understanding?
