Hi. I am a Type II diabetic and suffer from neurapathy in the lower legs. Diagnosed in 98 only 31 years after exposure to Agent Orange. My local county Health and Human Services Officer helped me file my claim with the VA and I was subsequently awarded 70% disability and compensated back to the date of the diagnosis. He was able to confirm the agent Orange spray in my area from some military records that I never saw. Have you friend go to the VA and get registered and have the medical evaluation. They can get him started if no other help is available. Good Luck.
