Although the film recieved good reviews, I could tell it wasn't my kinda flick. However I don't have a wife encouraging me on either. "Dreams within Dreams," too complicated.

If I may take the time to hype a decent HBO series, Hanks produced, "the Pacific." Ten episodes an hour long which he could have condensed. The strength of this long epic is in the character portrayals of these real WWII heroes and the comraderie of all soldiers in war, whether yesterday or today. Not always perfect or pretty, but for those who have been there, understandable with a sense of Bravado and Brotherhood in memory.
