Hi Dan. John Giddings landed in VN on 05/25/1967, and was killed by multiple frag wounds on 03/26/1968 - up in Quang Tri Province next to the DMZ. He was with 1st Battalion, 8th Cav Regiment - but there's conflicting records whether he was with A or B Company. If you can email me, I can get you an address where to get this Unit's 'Daily Logs' that will show the time, date, and location of what happened to him on that fateful day. Bruce.
