Dear Mr. Camunes,
My name is Aya and I am a junior at Aragon high school in San Mateo. We are currently learning and reading about the Vietnam War. To learn about what some Vietnam veterans went through, we are reading war stories and trying to interpret the experiences that veterans like you went through. I found the story about your son and your combat interesting because it seemed very lucky and personal. Although you weren�t with your, you were lucky enough to have a new baby boy and to be saved from being hurt on that patrol. I would call that a miracle. I think it�s great that you still celebrate that day and thank God that you lived through the rest of the war and got home safely to share your life with your family.
