Howdy Larry;

OK, so it's A Company, 3rd Battalion ("Braves"), 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry ("Ivy") Division. There's not too much posted online about you guys. However, the Military.com website has a homepage for A/3/12 at http://unitpages.military.com/unitpages/unit.do?id=723689&ck_unit=67892 which has 12 members about 3 of which have dates of service which overlap yours. The entire battalion has a homepage at http://unitpages.military.com/unitpages/unit.do?id=100345 with 115 members from all eras.

I think that your best bet, however, is to jump up to the division level at http://www.4thinfantry.org/ which is the homepage for the 4th Infantry Division Association. They have a guestbook where you can leave a message and get information about reunions, etc. Good luck!

P.S. My regiment (the 47th Inf.) served with the 4th I.D. during WW I, but they reassigned us to the 9th I.D. for WW II and Vietnam.
