You could try asking the 299th Combat Engineers at http://www.angelfire.com/gundam/dakto/index.html . The Quass brothers are not on the "Life Membership" roster, but they might be on a more general roster.

For two brothers to have served in the same platoon would have required special permission. Ever since the loss of all five Sullivan brothers onboard the USS Juno (a light cruiser) which was sunk by the Japanese in 1942, the U.S. Military has been reluctant to put close family members in the same unit for obvious reasons.
